CBMC Presents: Bart Hungerford – Jesus at work in the Nineveh Plain

Often when we hear about Iraq in the news is because something bad happened, and there is no doubt there has been a lot of tragedy and pain suffered by the people in Iraq. This week we have an opportunity to hear how Christians are responding to the pain of the Iraqi people by providing medical help and God’s love through Samaritan’s Purse.

Please join us this Tuesday, April 4, to hear our own Bart Hungerford describe his experiences seeing Christ at work saving lives in Iraq on the current-day Plains of Nineveh.  Bart was part of the team that established an Emergency Field Hospital within the War Zone in Northern Iraq, near Mosal as shown in this video:

Samaritan’s purse built this emergency field hospital to treat those injured in the conflict between Iraqi and coalition forces and ISIS militants in Mosul. The hospital provided trauma care to victims, including many women and children wounded by gunfire, mortar rounds, car bombings, and improvised explosives. Equipped with two operating rooms, more than 50 beds, and dozens of Samaritan’s Purse staff, the hospital is the closest trauma unit to the front lines of fierce fighting in Mosul.

Bart HungerfordBart Hungerford is the President and Managing Director of NobleOutReach LLC (NOR) an international equity capital firm which has pooled private equity venture capital, managed the private equity venture capital pool, and invested in over 60 different companies. NOR is primarily involved in financial services, international business, and the purchase, development, construction, ownership, and management of real estate.

Please join us on Tuesday, April 4, from 6:45-8:00 AM in the Community Room at the Einstein Bagel on Firstfield Road & Quince Orchard Blvd in Gaithersburg. Our group time starts at 7:00 AM sharp.
