Faith in the Marketplace Virtual Event
Friday, October 2, 2020 @ 7:30 AM EST

Are you looking to be refreshed?
Gather with other Christian men and women in the workplace to be encouraged on how to live out your faith with hope and joy.
Join us online this Friday morning October 2, 7:30-9 am
for some encouragement and inspiration from J.R. Briggs of Kairos Partnership. His topic will be
“Unchanging Hope in a Changing World: Resilience When the Crisis Seems Unending”

To learn more about J.R. or his new book, click on one of the photos below.
During this current season when many are discouraged, resilience is more important than ever. J.R. will talk about what resilience is and what practices we can cultivate in our lives to live more resiliently. Following J.R.’s talk, there will be an opportuntity for small group questions, discussion, and sharing.

The vision of Hope in the Marketplace is to bring together Christians in the marketplace all across the region to have a Kingdom-focused event that will: Motivate and mobilize Christians in the marketplace to take the next step to engage with God’s activities right where they are planted. Give you increased ‘vision’ of what your role can be in God’s plans. Join us to hear fellow marketplace Christians share their real-world experience in bringing the hope of Jesus Christ into the marketplace.

Check out our website for more information including the featured speakers.

The Christian Businessmen’s Connection of Montgomery County is a workplace ministry network for mutual encouragement, support, and discipleship training based on the Christian Business Men’s Connection (CBMC). CBMC was started in Chicago in 1930 during the Great Depression by a group of Christian businessmen who came together and started praying for each other and for the presence of God’s Kingdom in each others’ businesses.

Our Montgomery County CBMC team (for men only) meets weekly to encourage each other spiritually and to practically pursue the disciple-making work of the Great Commission — meeting men where they are and and helping one another to become the men that God intends us to be. We welcome men from different church backgrounds and economic strata who are called to represent Christ and His kingdom in the workplace.
