CBMC - Get Connected

CBMC Vision:

The Vision of CBMC is seeing God working through men who are fully committed to Him and to His mission.

Our Vision is for All Men in Our Movement to Experience:

  • The power of one God
  • The value of one man
  • The leverage of one team
  • Resulting in spiritual reproduction among businessmen throughout the world.

A Movement of Men

God is at work in and through the men of CBMC, moving in their hearts to join Him and invest their lives in others. A movement is defined as a “change for strategic purposes.” Sensing that God is at work, we are following Him, seeking to be a ministry that is mobile and fluid, ready to adapt as needed. That is a movement being lived out in pursuit of Christ’s redeeming mission. (Titus 2:11-14)

Men Who Experience the Power of One God

The Christian life begins with God drawing men into a life-changing relationship with Him. By His power working through us, His purposes are fulfilled on earth. Jesus said, “Apart from Me, you can do nothing.” (John 15:4-5) We are called, not to work for Him, but to trust Him to work through us. (John 14:12-14) That experience fosters humility, reverence, and a Godly passion which cannot be replaced by a personal agenda. That is God’s power at work.

Men Who Experience the Value of One Man

Christ died for each of us, paying an infinite price for our eternal debt. All men are valued in the eyes of God, who loves them and pursues a relationship with them (Matthew 11:28-30). As we grow in Christ, He uses us to influence others to follow Him. (Matthew 4:19) The results are changed lives and eternal impact. The value of one man multiplies as he trains men who train other men. (1 Timothy 4:7-10) CBMC provides a unique framework for a life-on-life growth process that is individualized so that the life of Christ can be multiplied. That is the value of one man. (1 Thessalonians 2:8)

Men Who Experience the Leverage of One Team

Teamwork is God’s design to accomplish His work. This is illustrated by Christ being the head and we being His body. We too team together with other men to enhance our effectiveness in ministry. (Romans 12:4-5) Together more is accomplished, and we experience Him through enriched relationships which transcend the work. Every member of the team should engage in effective participation reflecting their unique gifting and calling. (1 Corinthians 12:4-7; 1 Peter 4:10) That is the leverage of one team.

Resulting in Spiritual Reproduction Among Businessmen Throughout the World

God has given CBMC the opportunity to take the light of Christ to the business world. It begins with one man reaching out to, and investing his life in a man, who will in turn do the same with others. (2 Timothy 2:2) This is spiritual reproduction, and by God’s power, men reaching men will multiply throughout the nations, thus fulfilling Christ’s Great Commission. (Mark 16:15)

CBMC Core Values:

CBMC is founded on a set of simple yet profound core values. They are the guiding principles that direct our overall ministry activity. These are the non-negotiables which we consider to be of utmost importance, and apply to all that we do.

  • Preeminence of Christ: Intimacy with Christ is paramount; therefore we recognize that ministry flows through spiritual leaders who are devoted to Christ and to prayer. (Colossians 1:16-23) All that we do must emanate from our life in Christ and His life in ours. (Colossians 3:15-17).
  • Life-on-Life Relationships: We value the process of committed one-on-one relationships for evangelism and discipleship. Just as the Apostle Paul shared his life with Timothy for the sake of the gospel, we believe in building relationships in order that we may share our lives with those in need, caring for them and being committed to them over time for the sake of the Gospel. (1 Thessalonians 2:7-8)
  • Teams: God calls us to work together in teams in order to multiply what He wants to accomplish through us. Two or more people with an external focus compose a team whose emphasis is relationships and mission. (1 Corinthians 10:31-11:1)
  • Generational Spiritual Reproduction: The goal of the discipleship process is multi-generational spiritual reproduction. (2 Timothy 2:2; Acts 2:38-39) In this way the life of Christ will multiply, allowing “the least of you will become a thousand.” (Isaiah 60:22)
